Can't reply on thread

Hi, I replied to a thread asking the OP a question, they have answered it and how I want to post another comment and it won't let me.

I can type it all out, but when I go to click on the 'Post' button, nothing happens.

Yes, it only had about a dozen posts. Same thing happened on several other threads too, and I ended up logging out, leaving it half an hour and then coming back. Since then it has been intermittent and I have managed to post again now.

Is the thread still open? They fill up and close to new posts when they reach 1000 replies.
