For ages I was tortured by a skiing poll which I was unable to answer, now this!
So frustrating!

I can't stop my brain registering them, so to quickly respond is the best way to deal with them. I don't even mind answering them more than once... unless I can't answer them at all! They're like a stone in my shoe.

Do you not just scroll past them and filter them out of your consciousness if they're irrelevant?

Just ignore them! I'm guessing that the vast majority of MN do.
