why doesn't mn introduce optional web mail and instant messaging

...then the sellers could use it or you could communicate with people online but without giving emails addyys out

and you would get more revenue from the extra ads

This must've been suggested before my time and there's a very good reason why we don't but I can't think of what they might be.
