I am not a regular "for saler" either. I have bought, but to be honest the kind of attitude implicit in "you are not a regular for saler" makes me think twice about doing so again.

You don't have a good point at all, Hnybnch. What you're proposing is to distance yourself from the rest of Mumsnet so that you can sell on the boards.

That is not in the spirit of the arrangement at all. This is a community of parents, who share advice and help each other out. If all you wish to do is sell goods, then go to eBay and pay the appropriate fees.

You're free-loading. Surely you can see this?

actually i've always kept them in active convos, although they don't seem to be at the moment for some reason. i think you were very ignorant and rude indeed to me, hnybnch, and if you can't see that then i frankly despair.

Don't think so, was pointing out that you "Don't" use "For sale"?

Hence why you didn't want it in active convo's?

I am simply asking for the "for sale" boards to go back to as they were BUT not be in active convo's as that was the main point made? That "For Sale" threads were being "Bumped"?

If we are no longer in active convo's then we don't bother the rest of Mnet??

You know what strikes me as odd? I've never heard of any of you ladies, except for Aitch.

It's much like the old joke, you know? You don't call .... you don't ring ....

You just want to sell. That's what you want to do, and you want to do it for free. My personal opinion is that MNHQ should do away with the FOR SALE board completely.

Aitch genuinely wishes to buy/sell on this board, but it's much like being an angel fish in a pond of pirhanas. So go eat your own flesh and fuck off to eBay.

and i also was suggesting the reason why it might look different to you but not to me, hence the suggestion that maybe mumsnet classic was the issue.

what's wrong with it? what's changed? it looks much the same to me? do you think changing to 'classic mumsnet' would make a difference? you do it through your preferences i think.

I'm new to mumsnet, but find the for sale board quite difficult to follow. Also could postcodes/areas be included in the title?
