I was Noellefielding and then saw someone else had the same name. How's that possible?

I've reverted to my old name because this morning I saw another Noellefielding on this thread:
In the news : 'Stressed' father batters his 2 yr old daughter

I didn't think that was possible!

I just don't know what I did, I chose it ages ago though! Maybe you can't hog a load of old names. I have about 10! Queenceleste, nigelslaterfan - loads of them!
