Hello Tech. Please can we have a 'yawn' emoticon?

Or a 'can anyone actually hear me?' expression?

You know, for the threads where you have said the same thing very politely several times, and you still don't seem to be getting through to people.

Or we could have an automatic post facility, which reads 'I am not able to respond to this thread any further, as I am currently banging my head against my keyboard in a firm and repetitive manner'.

I agree that a yawn emoticon would be rude. Someone actually said Yawn in response to something I posted once, and it did upset me.

If someone reads something that they are fed up of hearing about or whatever then they should just move along and not post.

I think it's very impolite & ignorant to do this online, so no, I don't think that you should have one.

I mean someone was excitedly showing me their holiday photos recently and I lost the will to live halfway through, but I would not have dreamt of putting my hand to my mouth and proffering a pretend yawn.

How rude.

Someone starts a thread, and everyone piles in with the yawning and the banging. Then the op gets the huff on and begins the Don't read if you don't want to, or hide the thread.
