Is it possible to have the facility for a thread be "locked" so that it can be viewed but not posted on any more? Obviously not so that everyone can lock threads but so that we can request it.
Sometimes threads degenerate from an interesting start into a Them v Us scenario with people getting defensive, aggressive, upset... It's not right to delete the whole thread but being able to request that it be locked against further posts would be good.
