if i advertise free face painting on here so i can get practise do i have to pay small business price for the ad?

eventually, i would possibly be looking at this as a part time job, but that would be a long way off, but for now i need faces to practise on.

is that ok?

ooo good idea, but probably left it too late.

school are having a bake sale. would also need to make surei am covered bytheir insurence.

lol.my mum brought a dolls head one,a bratz head one and a horse head for dd all within a year-they are all hidden in back of cupboard!horrible things but maybe better than grabbing passing children in street to facepaint

practice blending and drawing fine lines on your hand so you can find the right brushes

yes, have been using a spray at the course i've been doing.

just tried to do my own face in the mirror, now i know why io am cr*p at putting on make up lol.

The pictures on your profile look fab!!

Oh yes - I like the irridescent powder as well as sparkles

The professional face painters I saw used a spray bottle to wet the paint which seemed such a good idea and a lot less messy.

Lots of sparkles go down well - and I reckon I'm going to get a lot more electric colours (I said some fab simple painting at the weekend). www.facepaintingdesigns.co.uk/ this website has good designs to copy in the gallery. Spiderman is easy and practise butterflies (hard to look good) and princesses (look like drag queens if yoiu're not careful)

do you mean snazaroo?i started with basic kit but over years you just add allsorts!my dad made me cut wooden box,which i painted brightly.it was great especially when i dressed as clown-perfect acesory!(more money as a clown-i loved it though!)

basic snazaroom starter kit.

but am drooling over some grimas stuff.

have started taking pictures already of what i;ve done to my kids. peter wont let me paint him

i used to practise on my sisters.i took photos of each face and made into book to show children choices of what i could do,much nicer than a shop brought book.i used to do it once a week for air ambulance and atleast 2 parties a month.great fun.
ask any local charitys if theyve any events coming up theyd like free facepainter for.
