Where's winestein?

This thread is a bit like 'Where's Wally?', except that it involves you telling me where Winestein is. Has she namechanged? (Is she BoysAreLikeDogs?)

OK, she's not BoysAreLikeDogs, I don't think. That poster appears to be a childminder. And one thing I know about Winestein is that she Works in Traffic Regs.

She was Frankenwinestein for a while. And then, about two weeks ago, she clean disappeared. At about the same time, my cat got a bad case of fleas. Coincidence? I DON'T THINK SO.

Thought it would be a bump for you in a nice natural way!

Will look out for her thou as I like a challenge ( and as I found the book that DH had been looking for for about a month I now have no purpose in life!)

Well, it's one thing to be away for halloween but it's quite another to still be awol on the 12th of November.

Really? Was it spooky? did you check the phone lines? did you assume a stalker was within the house somewhere?

I only ask as those are my first thoughts when the power goes.

Re the deerstalker; unless you can be 100% certain that you don't have nits....keep it!

I have been hiding in the Peak district with my dog who is terrified of fireworks - just got back tonight.

Not that I logged straight onto Mumsnet, honest.

Was the Peak District lovely? Are you all rosy-cheeked and perky?

Awww man, I can't tell you how lovely the Peak District was, and that I feel physically sick at having to leave it - not helped by the fact that I said I would work tomorrow too.

Other than that I am incredibly pink cheeked and perky. Might even put the odd holiday photo on my profile to celebrate.
