Could we have an "interracial" talk topic?

I would dearly love to talk to other mums in mixed relationships, about all the issues of mixed-race kids etc. I know I could start a general mixed race thread (and will do if this request is turned down), but there are so many 'sub-threads' I'd have to end up starting, from the thorny political issue of mixed-race hair to in-law (in)sensitivity, etc etc!

I am in mixed racial relationship.

I would rather it be called this rather than multicultural tbh but happy to go with whatever.

Tricky, could make it just even more complicated than it need be..? Essentially we are talking about 2 'cultures' joining/living side by side, whether that be a religious culture or a 'colour' culture iykwim?

Toky, you are not alone. I am mixed race and my dd is mixed, mixed race I suppose included in 'mixed race' would also be couples from different religious backgrounds too.

We'll certainly think about this one. What would you want to call it. Mixed race relationships? Mixed relationships might not make sense to everyone?

Never sure if DP and I count, as we're both mixed-race

When I say a topic, I mean of course a topic like Health, Sleep, Language/Bilingualism, Religion, Special Needs ... (not just a thread)
