Some are split over 2 lines.

And if I click on a Topic link next to a thread, it takes me to the list of topics, not the threads in that topic (sorry if that has already been said)

TECH, i wonder if you can please help. i have typed in a search option of someones name, that person and their post came up - i clicked on that post and it brought me to the beginning of a thread.

i then have to sift through 13 pages to find the post.

before if i clicked on the persons post after the search, i was brought to that particular post.

do you follow?

Wondered what was going on thought I'd messed it up. Then go pointed in the right direction and put it back to classic. Suppose we'd all get used to it if no options.

smugmum - go to customise active conversations & you can choose the topics to ignore. Buying & selling are under Classified.

Go to Customise active convos. You will find you can ignore all sorts of topics.

Thank you Tech, have done that now - hadn't found that option at all! Obv temp blindness caused by the mumsnet muted (my arse) turquoise.

Ignore is good.
Ize is bad.
No flipping flip is terrible.
Classic is a blessing as new stylee is awful.
