Hi NomDeB, that unsticky stickies thing should be OK now.

On the little description of ignore stickies, it says that the threads will only appear whenthey are active, jut slike any other threads. So why are they still appearing with the sticky icons at the top of active convos for me and not in the normal active convo list like any other active thread

Sorry, didn;t see this thread before starting a brand new one especially for my own rant/question

ADragonIs4LifeNotJustHalloween · 26/10/2007 13:39

Sounds like it's a viewing-by-page problem then.

RubberDuck · 26/10/2007 13:30

When the thread only has a single page, it does jump to the right place then...

RubberDuck · 26/10/2007 13:28

I am viewing pages (book style) so I think it's an issue in that format, soupy.

ADragonIs4LifeNotJustHalloween · 26/10/2007 13:26

(I'm not viewing in pages and am reading bottom up though, wonder if that makes a difference)

CatIsSpooky · 26/10/2007 13:25

tech
um, someone might have pointed this out before...but you can't tell who has a profile now and who hasn't...was this a deliberate change?

ADragonIs4LifeNotJustHalloween · 26/10/2007 13:25

I'm on Firefox and mine takes me to the post, Rubberduck. It jumps shortly after loading the thread.

RubberDuck · 26/10/2007 13:24

Oh, and when you post on a long (several page) thread then it takes you back to the first page again, when surely you want to be back on the last page where you just posted?

RubberDuck · 26/10/2007 13:23

Tech: I didn't read all 15 pages of this thread, so may have already been reported, but when clicking on a specific post in "threads I'm on" it doesn't take you to that post but to the beginning of the thread (at least in Firefox). Bloomin' annoying when it's pages long and you can't remember where you got to

ADragonIs4LifeNotJustHalloween · 26/10/2007 13:20

And I'd like to be able to unpin specific threads. Not just all-or-nothing. [whinge]

ADragonIs4LifeNotJustHalloween · 26/10/2007 13:19

Serves you right then The text size is to do with your browser, not Mumsnet.

kittywitch · 26/10/2007 13:18

I have an apple

ADragonIs4LifeNotJustHalloween · 26/10/2007 13:18

kittywitch, do you have a scroll wheel on your mouse? hold CTRL and scroll it. It changes the text size.

kittylouise · 26/10/2007 13:17

I think it's great.

I love the new subtle colour scheme so I can skive mumsnet at work.

kittywitch · 26/10/2007 13:16

Please, please make the text a little bigger. I can't see anything (mrs brady old lady emoticon)

ADragonIs4LifeNotJustHalloween · 26/10/2007 13:14

Can we have the option of 200 threads on Active conversations. It's what I have set already but I don't think my bookmark then takes into account my customised bits.

And I can't get my stickies unstuck.

lucykate · 26/10/2007 12:31

but not nut

at least i can post, couldn't post last night

lucykate · 26/10/2007 12:29

i still can't get ignored topics to work, i click on what i want to ignore, go to save nut it just keeps saying undefined value

FlameInHell · 26/10/2007 12:27

What does it saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay?

ShaunOfTheThread · 26/10/2007 12:11

'Ignore Thread Pinning / Stickiness' is my favourite bit of site jargon on the whole internet

tortoiseSHELL · 26/10/2007 11:30

Tech, I love the changes (mostly), but the number of posts on active conversations is 1 too many each time - so if it says '3 posts' there are only 2. Only a small thing....

Nip · 26/10/2007 11:23

ooppss didnt see this thread... can you help me with a small questions please

here

wheresthehamster · 26/10/2007 10:53

Thanks for fixing 'threads I'm watching'.
I think it's fab. I've gone for the classic look, no pages, but with lots of lovely 'ignores'
