ANY CONFUSION / COMPLAINTS ETC RE LAYOUT OPTIONS PLEASE POST HERE FOR SAKE OF TECH NERVES TA.

Hey Tech, you know this new fabtacular option to ignore threds! It works in active convos, but I can still see them in "Threads I am on!" I want to step aside from a thread that is provoking the guts out of me, but I cant! It is right there on the top of "Threads I am on" even if I hit ignore!

What can I do? Just start posting randomly on threads to get rid of it????

So can I, but I may not be very representative as other bits don't work here either.

when u click into threads im on u used to be able to click on a name and it took u to that bit of the thread. it doesnt do that anymore wich is a pain in the ass when its a long thread

CappuScreamo - If you go up to the link at the top for layout, you can change to "original mumsnet" or change to unlimited posts per page, both of which will take you back to being able to scroll (I hope)

Jas, I'm the same. Still can't ignore threads or topics.

Can there be a visual separation of the stickies from the active threads below , a wider gap perhaps or break ?

My ignore stickies isn't working - they are still there at the top!!!

i just got back from being away for a week and a half, and initially thought....WTF? but I've had a play and got it looking how I like it, and like it I do!

Tech - generally loving being able to filter out stuff that doesn't interest me. However, some topics that appear on my 'ignore' list, are still appearing in my 'active conversations'. Probably just a glitch, but thought I'd let you know.....

Looking at "Last Day" , some of the threads are listed as
$m.TopicName - $m.ThreadName
with last posters name and time against them

can we have the search options back in alphabetical order? its too confusing!!

Probably not important but RE: IGNORING STICKIES

when you set your preferences to ignore stickies they still come up when you first hit active conversations

so you can then go to threads I'm on .. but next time you hit active conversations there are the stickies again and you have to refresh it again to get rid of 'em

Not sure if it's been mentioned and it certainly isn't an important one but thought I'd let you know I'd not this quite a bit......on a lot of threads it will say x number of messages within thread but when you go into the thread, there's actually only y messages.

What's not to like - I now ignore 40 topics! Huzzah!

ahem now that I have found my way around the new layout... I love it! (particularly since I removed the unprintable new blue and have been playing with the ignoring function)

However.... I have another suggestion... would it be possible to have the topics listed in alphabetical order in the "search for messages" area?
