I am fed up everyday of logging on to troll posts. cant something be done to stop this

Thanks for the tip, JJ. I've never shipped half-naked young men across the atlantic before, or anywhere, for that matter, so I might have forgot. Are you giving this advice from experience?

Remember to put some food in the box and poke airholes in it. Don't want them to starve or suffocate.

That's a good idea Lou. Last night the poster wasn't sure who was and wasn't moderators to start with. That makes it more clear by far.

I don't think that anyone would read just the initial posting though, so would also read a lot of experienced mums and their pov, but I get what you are saying.

Got permission to add moderator onto the front of my name. Thought it may help those who don't know who the mods are.

But TBH, if someone doesn't know the correct dosage of a medication - they would read the bottle, not take the word of 'some nut' on the internet. The mumsnet team can not be held responsible for every thing we type in here.

Well sorry to go off current topic, but I just wondered - if a very young and inexperienced mum came on here and read the latest calpol thread, believed what the poster was spouting, and acted on it with dire consequences, would Mumsnet be prepared to take responsibility? I think some responsibility must go along with running a parenting website. I also think it is disgraceful that the calpol thread has not been deleted.

FWIW I think Tosca is an arse. No idea why anyone was after her knickers in the first place, I wouldn't touch her with a bargepole if I were a man.
