Think Pan is just trying to goad people. Not my idea of fun whatsoever - his attitude stinks.
His posts are laughable IMO - or would be if they weren't so blatantly constructed in order to offend.

"Being paid to kill children mothers and fathers" is so profoundly offensive that I think people's anger and upset may be affecting their replies. This seems to be goading Pan on. In his dark, sad and cynical world perhaps doctors are paid to make the wrong diagnosis, train drivers are paid to crash their trains, chefs are paid to make people ill with bad food, policemen are paid to victimise black people? The list is endless and is of course nonsense. Terrible things happen Pan, especially in war. But people set out with the best of intentions, in our case to protect people like you. Perhaps you should think carefully about that, about the society you live in, the democracy that you are part of and the people who are trying to keep you safe.
