Heard Justine today on Front Bottom

With Radio 4's handsome Mark Lawson! Good appeal for the poor poppets without the night whatever it is. My ds too old for me to know!

Why do people throw around the term 'offended' so easily?

Finding something funny or ridiculous is different from getting offended by it.

And let's face it, The Night Garden is freakish.

not really sure if I have offended exactly but I am very frightened of (whispers) expat...... in case she gives me one of those great wallops and I am knocked for six!

comes out from under chair for a moment, stands straight with hand on heart and promises:

But of course ML is very fine and all that but he is so full of himself that it makes me want to lie down and take medication. I didn't mean he is what you wrote lillapin just that it needs it's self importance reduced at every opportunity!

Ah, right. I honestly didn't know there was a show called Front Row, or who it was hosted by. So I assumed she really had been talking about front bottoms, and the various terms people have for them [foreigner]

She was talking about the cbeebies show The Night Garden which has a cult following, apparently. On R4's Front Bottom (Row) presented by Mark Pompous (Lawson)

probably we have the same sense of humour but I thought it was quite amusing it is just the sort of juvenile joke I like.
I still call it kaleidoscope because I am OLD like the hills.
anyway, what was she talking about?
(BTW greensleeves hates MArk Lawson too, for some reason. I always find him quite congenial)
