Perhaps a veto button that allows people to vote when they get fed up and when enough people have voted that Mumsnetter is sent to the naughty step for half an hour where they can only post on 'in the news', 'ebay' and 'ecology' threads.

Actually Catastrophe I think there must already be such a system in place, but only visible to the chosen few

Need some way of 'tagging' threads which are P&G, so that the mob can find them quickly. Perhaps they could appear in red on active convos, then, like bulls, they would come.

Obviously we need to all have the ability to move threads from one section to another. That would be useful and not confusing at all.
