Thank God you are back, DCs are debating how gender is decided at conception. I am not ready drunk enough for this type on conversation with a 16 and 13yr old

Last time I was pg , kind and well meaning people would ask my then 5yo Dd if she wanted a brother or a sister. She would fix them with a withering stare and inform them

" the baby is already a boy or a girl - you don't get to choose "

If I didn't intervene she would then proceed to tell them about eggs and sperm < old lady faints in supermarket >

Luckily Hmm most of my evening was spent trying to get a urine sample from my cat and cleaning up puddles of piddle, so I didn't miss it too much.

They're a dedicated lot, shame they couldn't do something more constructive with their time.

Now I feel sad I didn't try net huns while the site was down. I want a big huge glittery ticker too. With my husbands head rotating in a clot of glitter and the tag line 'only 2 years 1 month and 3 days till I marry my special pumpkin xx'

I wandered lonely as a cloud during the MN crash. Can we all agree where to meet if it happens again? Not sure I can cope with glittery unicorns et al on the NM site.

Would Gransnet allow us temporary residence?

I went on a bus and saw pushchair wars - I had never believed it before. And MN was down and I couldn't report in. I hope no one found a shopping list!
