Would you like to test an early version of our Talk app?

Could 'I'm On' please alternate colours like 'Active' does. It's a sea of pink and difficult to read. I don't think it's the colour I've chosen.

Thank you to whoever explained how to change the font size. On my 5S it was too small but is now good.

Would be really good to be able to read the thread whilst typing a response. Please don't make me remember usernames that I want to quote etc. I don't have the brain capacity.

I like the font. It's very easy to read.

I would like it if there were lines between the posts and if original poster was highlighted and my posts.

Hi not sure if this has been answered. I'm on the app on my iPad mini and active convos look this this.
The watch and hide function cover the thread titles.

I noticed some time glitch problems too. Was catching up reading the Humans on C4 thread and the posts were marked Today 17.05 but they were from 2or 3 weeks ago. Only noticed because I was catching up and thought 'argh, spoilers!' then realised they weren't at all.

Definitely can't do without flip, especially without page numbers.

Sorry if this has been answered, possibly more than once...but will 'search' be on the main app.

I think this has already been asked but I can't spot the answer and I can't figure it out! How do you flip threads on the new app? I'm going crazy...

Don't like it's lost it's menacing quality. Pretty happy with the look of it generally. As others say, highlighted op posts would be good

Enjoying using the App so far.
However,like others have said,colour blocking the OP's posts would improve it.

I tend to use the laptop rather than the App, MrsW - at least for the longer threads because it's such a PITA scrolling and scrolling when there are no bookmarks on the current App. The desktop site shows names and times of last posts so it's just easy to spot - especially when you know you haven't been on a thread for ages.

And fudge, (see, I had to go back to the thread!) I hadn't realised that about the search function; yes, we want a proper one!

cozie, I don't think you'd notice the time/poster name problem if you weren't flicking between the desktop and the app, so well done you for spotting that one!

One thing that's always bugged me about the app (well, one of many, but not one yet addressed here) is that when typing out a response, we have no way of checking the thread for anything - a poster's name or to quote them or even to just check facts! That would be nice...

Durp. Have been happily pootling along using this lovely shiny new app wondering 'ooh, I wonder when MN are going to ask for my feedback' when I suddenly though 'oh! Maybe I should check the original thread for info...'

Yes yes agreeing with everyone that we need to be able to flip the thread otherwise how can you easily post one of those annoying replies that show you have RTFT?

Also missing My Topics tho it has made me scroll through the full range of topics much more and been enjoying some book chat.

Can I set it to show more than 50 active threads? Seem to be getting to the bottom quickly. But like that can then bounce back up and refresh.

In sum: I it so much more than the old app and it's better than the mobile site too. Wahey! Thanks for letting me test

The bizarrely ordered TIO with no obvious way of seeing if there have been updates on threads is really irritating me now.

It now has me posting at 19.21. There seems to be a glitch whereby there's a substitution of the last desktop poster's name for the name of the last App poster on the board summary - or something along those lines.
