I'd like a Kenneth topic

For those people who's lives have been touched in some way by a Kenneth.

And those that feel their Kennethless lives lack something and want support in getting to a Kenneth.

It would be nice to have a space to escape the madness to discuss the many factions of Kenneth's.

When will this be ready HQ?

No, I demand a separate Anti-Kenneth board. I'm entitled to it dontchaknow.

And the thought of Kenneth's marrying is actually repulsive. Goes against human nature. Although imagine all the Kenneths flying home from around the world to vote!

NerrSnerr · 23/05/2015 10:00

To be honest I think the world would be much better if Kenneth's were banned from marriage. The Kenneth I knew was horrible and the world would be a much better place if he never got married.

TiggyD · 23/05/2015 09:53

Maybe one day Ireland will vote it legal for Kenneths to marry.

I've shagged a Kenneth, but he was known as Kenny. Does that still count?

Str1p3yl3af · 23/05/2015 09:49

I adore Kenneth in 'Early Doors'. Although most people call him Ken. Only his mum calls him Kenneth.

Mmmm. I do believe this requires its own section to thrash out.

RustyBear · 23/05/2015 09:48

My SIL was (briefly) engaged to a Kenneth. From what I saw of him, which wasn't much, he was totally unmemorable. Still, that's probably better than her next fiancé, who tried to kill her...

Sparklingbrook · 23/05/2015 09:47

DH is not on board with the Kenneth conceiving idea but may have been up for some rude on a Saturday morning.

WienerDiva · 23/05/2015 09:46

I meant he hasn't lost his nice nature. Stupid me.

EmpressOfJurisfiction · 23/05/2015 09:46

The Anti-Kenneths would be welcome in the Slagging Off Twatty Kenneths section, Whisk. Or the subsection for people who want to come to not discuss Kenneths.

WienerDiva · 23/05/2015 09:46

My grandpa is a Kenneth and even though dementia has taken hold of him he has lost his sense of humour or gentle nature. He's just one of the world's rare treasures. He never told us off, never said no to babysitting us and was always just lovely and complimentary about everything.

Even now when he isn't sure who we are he is so pleased to see us and sweet. Love this Kenneth!

Pardon me? How dare you suggest a Kenneth topic, Honey.

If HQ go ahead with this then I think we should also get an Anti-Kenneth topic. As always the Kennethites are shouting down the rest of us.

What about people who have 10 hours or so exposure to a Kenneth each week? Which camp do they come under?

Sorry to de-rail and I'm really not looking for a bunfight but I'm sick of the constant Kenneth V Anti-Kenneth fighting on here.

(I'd actually like to nominate Kenneth Connor as I bloody love him in the early Carry On films, with his 'hoh hoh' Grin. And the board's theme tune would obviously be 'What's the Frequency Kenneth' by REM)

FuckYouChrisAndThatHorse · 23/05/2015 09:39

I think that's what I need to do. How does someone bring out their inner Kenneth? Is there an evening class I can recommend?

EmpressOfJurisfiction · 23/05/2015 09:38

Chris, perhaps you could help Philip to discover his inner Kenneth?

magimedi · 23/05/2015 09:35

I am going out shortly. I will make it my mission to find a Kenneth so I can join in more fully to this topic.

Horopu · 23/05/2015 09:34

I teach someone called Kenneth, he is lovely.

bluecheque4595 · 23/05/2015 09:34

Indeed, Merrymouse. I was quite attracted to Sir Kenneth Branagh in his Henry V days.

Sparklingbrook · 23/05/2015 09:34

I could have a baby and call it Kenneth.

FuckYouChrisAndThatHorse · 23/05/2015 09:32

I know someone who really, really, really looks like he should be called Kenneth. But he's called Phillip.

Does that count. He's clearly a Kenneth. Perhaps he was adopted and doesn't know.

EmpressOfJurisfiction · 23/05/2015 09:31

Oh yes, sorry. We can support Sparkling in getting a Kenneth.

Sparklingbrook · 23/05/2015 09:29

I like the sound of that Empress, then I could join in. Smile

Now a Kevin topic you say.....

I'd like a Kenneth topic
HoneyDragon · 23/05/2015 09:28

The point of the topic is to include those who haven't met a Kenneth. Not knowing Kenneths is valid enough for the Kenneth topic.

EmpressOfJurisfiction · 23/05/2015 09:28

Thanks, Honey.

Sparkling, perhaps you could adopt one of the Kenneths on this thread?

ZacharyQuack · 23/05/2015 09:24

No, Kevins will definitely need their own topic.
