Hello all

We can't help but notice a mild exasperation with the political class in general amongst Mumsnetters - so we wondered, who would you like to see running the country? Could be a Sleb or a Civilian, a silly or serious suggestion - do tell us who'd get your vote?

OP posts:
BeakyMinder · 28/04/2015 07:26

Sue Perkins for PM!

Oodear · 28/04/2015 07:21

Bruce Banner for speaker.

That really nice nurse from the old series of 24 hours in A+E, the one with the greying buzz cut and the pierced ears.

She was bloody marvellous in a crisis.

And, Eddie Izzard.

And, my mum.

That should do it.

MovingOnUpMovingOnOut · 27/04/2015 23:27

Michael Rosen for education but also anything to do with youth and crime.

Jo Brand for Health. She's lived it on the front line, tells it straight and has a good understanding of the reality of today's NHS if Getting On and everything she's ever said is any indication.

Caitlin Moran - Minister for Women.

Robert Peston at the Treasury

OutsSelf · 27/04/2015 22:36

Caroline Lucas for PM, she's brilliant.
