Random posts are showing as a grey colour

I have customised my setting so that the OP is always coloured green, my own posts are pink and Mumsnet posts are blue.

Today I've noticed that the odd post here and there is grey. Is there a reason for this?

Magi isn't grey for me but Cats is!

I have the same customised settings as Cuthbert.

I just started another thread about this! Driving myself mad looking at random threads now and trying to see the link.

I'm also seeing Alistair's post as grey.
