Sorry I can't find the original thread but the misleading flashing envelope adverts appearing again for me today.

Quiero being stalked by an M&S coat has got me thinking.... Perhaps we could start a list of non flashing ads that are in calm colours. Then it would be possible to invest a few minutes googling them so that future MN sessions aren't plagued by flashing and lurid ads that are impossible to ignore. or I could confront my luddite fears and install an ad blocker Grin

I had it yesterday (safari). Now it's an M&S coat selection after clicking a link in S&B grr. I hate this advertising stalkery that all websites have now. That effing coat is everywhere. I don't even like it!
