Would we be able to have a spiritual life board??

There seems to be quite a few mums here who like the alternative way of looking at life. several of us chat on threads about all different mediums and angles of spirituality. So far we have 7 or so threads going but it would be great to have different subject headings. It will hopefully attract more people as its not always easy to find like minded mums with this interest. Would love to know what you think. We also wnat to dispel the theory that you have to be a hippy to be spiritually inclined.

yes I do a little. I just think you need to lay low as they say. You know I was also upset the other night. Just stay on an even keel please.

did bring up karma,( in one of my previous threads) which some thought was old wives stuff, you obviously believe in all this sort of stuff?

funny, nearly mentioned "The Witch Smeller Pursuivant" on my name change message, but didn't (is just sooo funny...have you ever seen it btw!)....my karma's not too bad at mo, have this meditation book out from library to hepl me chill...am I a witch ( where I live in 1596 ish, witches were burnt at the stake..helppppp!!!)

3 years ago Melsy, I felt the same btw, some people go for the feeling of a fear of the unknown, but only when they haven't had some experience or other (some people never have it...or some people just have)...there will always be people who don't support your beliefs anywhere (witness some of my own threads!), but I think it's brill to start any new kind of thinking BECAUSE it was my "Christian neighbours" moving next door to us a few years ago, that totally changed my life for the better (I had been searching for spirituality and then one day it just sort of happened)...I would be very happy to share experiences with anyone here and do believe that the world needs an influx of fire and new belief now and then keep it up!

You see the thing is spirituality encompasses so much. There are things you do that are spiritual possibly all the time.

Why is this such a threat to people??? Is it fear?? I am interested in it but I dont preach.So why the bad feeling??? I also have many friends who are not like this at all.

I love Blackadder, but think balders is the more switched on, have watched it for 20 years and admire Tony Robinson for all he has done, my name has 8 letters and begins with l, and love this site too!

Good point Twiglett, several good points, and the best one being it would make them easier to ignore.
I'm not Coddy, Melsy, but wouldn't telling someone off blur your aura? Should you be considering such negative vibes?

do you really thing your threads are parent issue focussed enough to be given there own board, sorry but they just don't come across as being prepresentative of parenting issues IMO
