So, how many new members have we had since the ST article?

I've seen lots of new nicknames, but presumably Tech or someone knows how many new members there are? I guess not all will be ST-related, but presumably there will have been a blip over the last couple of weeks.

Thanks Marthamoo I didn't know you could do that bit about putting your name in thats useful. I suppose I'll have to keep an eye on the title of the thread I'm intersted in.

CD - as you prob. saw from my prev. message yes I do walk a dog but only my own! I'm mum to two boys age 10 and 8, I work in their school part-time as classroom assistant, good because it fits in with school hols and school hours. I love walking with the dog though - I live in Cheshire (not the posh bit) but quite nice countryside round here. Trying to do a bit of gardening in my spare time and for some reason we have started building a pond in the garden - big mistake I think although it should be finished quite soon. The boys still quite demanding though but a bit more independent now.

dogwalker, you can look for a thread in several ways.

If it's recent you can click on "last day" at the top of the page and scroll through til you find it.

If you know the topic heading it was under you can search through the each individual topic (click on "topics" at the top) or if you can remember a word from the title click on "search current messages" (or archived if it was a whle ago)

You can also put your own name in under the "search current messages" and it will show you all the threads you've posted on.

Hi there, thanks for your posts it's made me feel a little more welcome, although it took me ages to find this "thread" again. Thanks Countess Dracula for the list of acronyms - I never knew there were so many! So how do you keep track of a thread you're interested in? Lisa78 - I only chose this name 'cos i've got a dog who looks longingly at me all the time and I have to go walk him - good exercise though. It's good being anonymous though - it means you can realy talk about anything you want! You've probably realised I've not been on "chat-rooms" or that kind of thing before.

Feeling very proud of myself today. Spent the WHOLE day cleaning the house and doing the washing. No it wasn't extremely dirty just took longer because of entertaining ds. No longer have a cleaner since I gave up work. Mind you, no great loss as used to clear up after her too!
