We’re after seasonal name changes that are a play on your usual name– to enter, post here under your new name, and tell us what your normal name is. You have till next Monday (the 15th) to post, then we’ll create poll of the ten best names, and you can vote for your favourite.

(I don't think GettingEggyWithIt is going to make the shortlist but hell I am more organised on here than in real life!) But yay! many thanks for the nomination and any votes...this is my third nomination(!) so I am used to losing# and am already wearing my fixed Oscar grin in a Brendan-from-Strictly stylee (except his rictus grin this year was every time they were saved, pissed myself). As it is am not sure eligible cos I am overseas but do name changes for shits and giggles.

For anyone thinking WTF...literally translating, the Germans call us Brits 'island apes' due to our insular nature (which means i fit in quite well in fairly insular Franconia but I always think of Planet of the apes whenever I hear it).
Maybe mnhq can send me an honorary award in a decade....in the meantime Happy Christmas one and all and do think of me if The Great Escape comes on the telly this year.

#was 'just resting my mince pies' last year and 'eggry to diseggry' in a previous Easter comp. Classics I tell ya! #figgywuzrobbed Wink

No way! I'm on the list! Grin. I thought it was a good 'un when DH actually LOL'd and said his usual compliment 'that's funny, for you'. He thinks he is the sole wit of the family so I will play this card for the next 12 months at least!

Of course it's not the winning that counts but getting short listed has made my Christmas! Xmas Grin
