Why has the site gone weird and white and why aren't the threads I've clicked on a different colour?

BlackeyedSantaStuckUpAChimney · 10/12/2014 10:25

are you getting anywhere with fixing this?

using desktop, firefox and mumsnet new view.

ElvesCantTwerk · 10/12/2014 10:21

Please fix this soon Tech.

Nanny0gg · 10/12/2014 00:03

IE11 (Yes, I know...)

No colour change for read threads here either. At least OP posts and mine are coloured as normal.

BreconBeBuggered · 09/12/2014 23:52

Haven't noticed anything odd about the background, but threads aren't marked as read. Most annoying. Using Firefox on my pc.

whitsernam · 09/12/2014 23:30

Happening here, too.... I'm using a MacBook Pro, with the new Mumsnet scheme, and it doesn't highlight threads I've already read, starting today!! I did not change anything....

FurryDogMother · 09/12/2014 22:05

Same here, also on laptop via Chrome - started this morning.

BirdhouseInYourSoul · 09/12/2014 21:50

Same here.

On laptop via chrome.

Fairenuff · 09/12/2014 21:46

Me too.

BlackeyedSusan · 09/12/2014 21:44

oh for goodness sake it is still happening.

Allthequeenshorses · 09/12/2014 21:31

I came here as well to find out why my read threads are not changing colour. All just blue!!

NanTheWiser · 09/12/2014 21:24

It's really annoying, innit?

OddBoots · 09/12/2014 20:34

It's happened for me too, also Mumsnet new.

ZylaB · 09/12/2014 19:58

It seems the be dependant on the view you're in for the talk boards. I like mumsnet new, but this doesn't show which links I've already visited, if I set it to mumsnet Classic, or mumsnet muted, it does show clicked links as purple instead of blue.

Please fix this for the mumsnet new option techs!

(And if you're like me, I've had to switch for now cos I dont like clicking on topics I've already read, unless I choose to revisit them Grin)

mejon · 09/12/2014 16:57

Happening to me too. I'd also set mine to have no pages and for some reason it has reverted to individual pages. Logged in the whole time.

Nervo · 09/12/2014 16:40

~Including threads that were previously purple.

the other thread

OP posts:
Nervo · 09/12/2014 16:39

Yes, the threads that I've visited are no longer purple - they are blue (MN Classic).

isthisunfair1967 · 09/12/2014 16:38

Not just me - there's another thread out on the main boards about it too!!

Threads I click on aren't changing colour.

The weird whiteness has gone though, and the ctrl enter is working again (it wasn't earlier)

OP posts:
KateSMumsnet · 09/12/2014 16:37

Eh? Threads are looking normal to us! Perhaps it's the famous MN aurora borealis...

Where are you seeing the funky colours?

Dawndonnaagain · 09/12/2014 12:52

Yep, driving me nuts too!
