Pages loading extrememly slowly...

Using Windows 8 and Mozilla Firefox. Even worse when I was using Chrome.
It's been like this for a few hours now, pages just hanging or that annoying circle spinning round.
Have cleared cookies etc, just wondering if the issue is my end or if others having problems too. Other web pages are loading fine though.

Maybe we all have wind!

But for me (on safari) MN is definitely slower than other sites I'm looking at and a bit cranky.

Same here in Shropshire. Thought it was my broadband which is often slow between the hours of dawn and, well, the next dawn.
