It says there's a problem uploading photos and posting my text twice instead.

I thought the shiney new servers were meant to fix everything?

I think just not having enough experience of MN. There's no way that thread would have been deleted a few years ago, it might have merited an Ahem but that's it. Cruick was giving as good as she got and it was ascending happily into the hallowed realms of surreal bonkersness.

The bunfight had been and gone. All that was needed were a a few deletions for definite pas earlier in the thread.

I'm going to my nice, there was a narsty troll last night, so perhaps Ellen just deleted father than read it.

But it's a shame.

No point encouraging us to try and keep it light and self moderate is there. Might as well just be a massive wang on every thread knowing it will be deleted so you can continue being a wang and never get a telling off.

Plus there was a lot of helpful stuff about the actual LAW that the op needed.

I want the dog thread back. It was actually an example of the majority of Mnetters refusing to let it become a nasty bitter bunfight despite people's best. Efforts and should be left up as an example of how it should be done.
