You should see the post some MORON has just posted on my site about how mumsnet should be closed down as we all need to learn how to be grown up women.

I am just trying to calm down before I think of a reply. Anyone got any ideas?

What I should have said on the demo threads was thank you to the very many MNers who wanted to come on but couldn't at short notice because obviously we've all got kids/jobs/don't live within easy reach of capital. Loads of people CAT'd me to say they'd love to come but was too short notice. So thank you to all of you, let's arrange something soon that's more do-able.

I'm afraid to say that I think media interest in this story will now subside considerably in light of the news events of this morning. Not that I'm saying we should give up of course, but I do think we need to bear in mind that people are going to be more likely to be discussing attempts to blow up aeroplanes mid flight than the potential closure of a website and the issues of freedom of speech. I do think this can come back into the media, but I do think we will need to time it in such a way as to gain the most publicity from it.

So in others words, the world according to Voldemort is that all at Mumsnet are now liars as well as character assassins .

just a quick peek at the thumbnails of crtain magazines and it seems there is Voldemort saying everywhere she didn't ask for the web site to be closed or even that Mumsnet is doing this in order to get free publicity.

I'm afraid Mumsnet may have had a bad day tomorrow (or today)...
