I've been around since Christmas. I was WhenAChildIsBored over Christmas, then Meanoldmummy, then got talked into changing my name and am now Greensleeves... but definitely not an oldie. Pourquoi?

I can see your point there mykidsmum, but the fact remains that some of us don't think she should have been put in a position where she felt she had to leave. She is missed, and it did seem very unfair.

I actually have a huge amount of respect for aloha in the way she has dealt with this situation. She left, calmly, dignity still intact and has obviously decided she doesn't want to return (which we all feel a bit sad about). I find it refreshing rather than alot of the wittering of late that we don't like this aboutMN, or there are too many cliques or many of the other things folks are moaning about. Surely its best just to go, rather than endlessly go on about how badly you have been treated or how unfair MN is.

FWIW and in order to stop anyone else getting paranoid it was someone who as it happens gave me a good suggestion elsewhere on MN about pedometers!!!! TaiTai - again and again she pops up and re invents the wheel with another argument basically - I felt like shouting SHUT UP tbh

Great pedometer suggestion though - which I am grateful to her for :)

As said - never any question of Aloha being asked to leave or not allowed back - quite the opposite actually.

Expat - fraid we don't always get to every deletion request if they come in after hours or at the weekend - tis in someone's "to do" box for tomorrow though, so rest assured it will get looked at.
