I think MN should ask Aloha to come back

tbh I find this all very sad, her posts were in retaliation towards another poster who called her something far worse and that post was allowed to stay.

I dont think it is up to mn to ask her to come back as it is aloha's choice whether or not to come back here

but an apology wouldnt go amiss neither.

I remember one thread (can anyone else) where mn needed someone to do an interview pretty quick and aloha was prepared to do it. (didnt know if she did or not)

Aloha must feel like she has been slapped in the face and cannot blame her for feeling like this.

Does anyone know her in real life? Does anyone know if she is going to come back (as the choice is obviously hers)?

I think it would be nice if mumsnet asked her to comeback. Her absense is a loss to the mumsnet community.

I think the thread that was deleted was the one where someone stated her real life name, and not the thread that actually caused offense. Not sure about this though.

I don't suppose them asking would do any good. My guess is that she will only come back as herself, IYSWIM, if they apologise or reverse what they did on the thread. Doesn't seem very likely though. I miss her too :(

Come back Aloha - I always found her to be one of the most honest people on here - sure some people are far more PC on the PC than they are in real life but not ALoha - she as mad in real life!! Wink

actually, I thought the reason why she left was pointless. There are loads of people here who are ready to testify (on the contentious thread if nec) that Aloha is not racist.

Thought I saw her on a recent thread about reading material - so I think she'll be back in her own good time. She's quite capable of deciding for herself!

No it is up to Aloha if she wants to come back. They didn't ban her did they? She flounced (for want of a better word) so I think they should leave it
