I couldn't sleep so decided to do this. [insert loser emoticon here]

I used 01/01 - 01/02 for the years 2004-2012.

Cunt was used this many times;

2004- 0
2005- 1
2006- 3
2007- 17
2008- 129
2009- 63
2010- 115
2011- 356
2012- 498

Also "fuck" grew from 18 mentions in Jan 04 to 6,277 mentions in Jan 2012.

"Cock" went from 14 mentions in Jan 04 to 498 in Jan 2012.

BUT "cock" is down this year from 585 for Jan 2011.

"Message deleted by Mumsnet" has gone from 2 in Jan 2004 up to a whopping 847 in Jan 2012!

I do have all the fuck and cock stats for every year but didn't want to kill you all with boredom. If I haven't already. Wink

Cocks are dropping off but cunts are growing, but what about 2009? Was there a new MNHQ policy or something to block cunts?

771 counts for January this year.

Only slightly up on last year.

Now are you lot only slightly more cunty or are you actually waaaaay more cunty but a lot of cunts have been deleted? Hmm.

I'm not sure if I more impressed with the stats or with the use of the word cuntier.

I love stats, I once collated all the ages of when posters first became mothers on some thread or other. The thread was a few hundred posts long i was bored. Surprise, surprise it ended up as a lovely bell curve. Lol

I love stats and will introduce them wherever possible.

I wonder if the reason the word cunt almost trebled in 2011 was because of the thread which coined the phrase 'atrocious cunt'? I'm sure it was probably that year - although I might be wrong.
