It's not just us who find Aptamil's campaign thoroughly shameful.

Have a look at what Baby Milk Action have to say about the Independent newspaper's decision to run their campaign as well .

I just don't understand why everyone is getting so upset. Of course breastfeeding should be promoted and encouraged but for lots of women, bottle feeding is better, for many reasons, and they need formula. Campaign to increase the profile of the NCT, or La Leche, or breastfeeding counsellors but I thin it's naive to expect formula companies not to promote their product. The lack of breastfeeding has far more to do with our education and culture then formula adverts.
