Hoping to find out more about Shoreditch Park COLA. Specifically, how it would suit a very dyslexic girl who is focused on music, plays 3 instruments and is not at all academic. How is the music? Are there lots of opportunities to perform? Are there choirs and orchestras etc. ? Are there kids from a diverse range of backgrounds or are they mostly from the flats surrounding the school? Does it have good SEND support? How do they deal with bullying? Is it really phone free or do kids bring their devices in and hide in the toilet to use them? Would love to hear experiences from anyone who has children currently attending the school.

Bump?

The twin girls who live near us and started at COLA Shoreditch Park with great excitement and high hopes in Year 7 are now desperate to escape due to male on female bullying. Anyone else have this experience?

If shes very talented in music there are schools she could access via a music place eg Camden or St Marylebone or even a music scholarship with a bursary to some indie schools.

@NavigatingSchools We are on the reserve list for St Marylebone but the independent school music bursaries and scholarships are only available to families that can cover most of the school fees as they are routinely only free lessons or a 10% fee reduction.
