Indie Offer Day 2026—London edition SPGS, G&L, CLGS, FHSS, Latymer

Haven’t seen a thread for keeping track of school communications today — or for commiseration re: this fiendish week of waiting — so: voila.

School gate this morning was a lot — strong cohort waiting for news from the usual suspects…

Got an offer from CLSG (the only school we applied to). Anyone know how it compares to SPGS and NLCS? Is it worth the money? We are thinking of attending the open day on monday.

Can’t speak to how it compares to NLCS — wasn’t ever part of our decision set. Have done a lot of thinking/research re: how it compares to SPGS, however. Will hold off on a final take until after their respective offer holder days.

Seriously impressive school — on a lot of levels. IMHO — but also that of families and educational professionals I know and trust. Loved the energy of their interview day. Only independent London school we applied to beyond SPGS.

Assume they emailed you their latest newsletter? Go through it (if you haven’t already) — found it really illuminating (and inspiring).

We’re seriously considering it, too.

So surreal to be on the other side of this — sending the most heartfelt support to those still waiting. Honestly not certain how/if I would have coped with another few hours. So brutal. Onwards

I called KGS who said emails will be out before end of day. Letters were sent out yesterday but some will get delivered next week as its not special delivery just first class. So if you have not received letters, its royal maiil not KGS.

Couldn’t agree more.

As a side note, apparently portals for some schools are showing offer status ahead of emails being sent — and some FHSS emails have gone out. Ditto some SPGS no’s…
