Hi all, I thought I'd start a thread for KS4 applications for Brit School as my daughter has her workshop and interview this week and I know we will both be anxiously waiting to here afterwards! She's applying for Film and Media production strand as is really passionate about working within the film industry.. We have no idea what to expect at the workshop and interview at all! good luck to anyone else there this week!

I think last year music was one of the last to find out, we found out the first week of April. But I think you had your interviews a little earlier than us ... We interviewed on the 5th of March. Not long guys 😍

I actually wrote out a little list based on this thread of which strands had heard on which days and which hadn’t!
VAD - 29th
T- no 5th, yes 6th, yes 7th
FMP -
IDD -
D - 7th
M -
MT -

I think last year some people waited five weeks or more! And they received emails apologising for the delay!

Musical theatre here. It’s officially mid March today so surely we have to find out this week! I’m glad you started this thread @ginman cos the wait would be even harder without it, so thank you!!!

Ugh, it’s taking so loooong! I’ve given up checking emails and the Brit website and I’m just relying on this thread now to know if there’s anything happening!

@Zanthe Yes she audition on 23/02/24. One of the girls was MT and another was Music
Still no news today. Fingers crossed.

Hi all, Congratulations to all those who have been accepted and those on reserve list.

We also found out our DD is on the reserve list for Dance. We are all so proud of her, this is such an achievement. We have everything crossed that a place becomes available now.

We too were told that this was essentially a yes, but waiting on a place to become available.

The checking of emails doesn't stop here :)

I am glad to find this. DD audition on 23/02/24 Musical theatre. Two of her friends from same school got rejection emails this week. Not sure what is happening just keeping my fingers crossed.

Hi @Yaababy My DD auditioned for MT on the 23rd too. Did her friends who got rejected apply for MT too or a different strand?

@Skysti yes I checked yesterday. It just said 'pending'. It took me hours to build up the courage to look 😂 pretty pathetic 😔
