CLSB 10 plus interview

Our DS got an interview invitation last week and we are just wondering what’s the chance of security an offer? Interview will take place on 31st of Jan, not sure the numbers were invited back for interview, and how many paces they are offering for 10 plus?

thank you so much for sharing. ours was also online. now I am panicking even more. my DS also remembered a memory question (after prompting so clearly poor memory). no maths and no reasoning, but one logical puzzle... they definitely tailor their interviews, but no idea what to make out of it. other than to panic even more. thank you so much for sharing, hope they send the results soon.

Our interview was an online one. My DS said there were some general questions but the questions they were asking as wasn't easy at all. There were 3 academic questions, involves a lot of analyzing and representing, it took him a lot of time to explain and get the results, second one was math according to DS and last one was reasoning, the first one was a memory test sort of thing. Not sure everyone gets the same questions though.

@JJS1612 we are in the same boat anxiously waiting for the result. may I ask if your and @PeachesF's son said anything about the interview? my son said there were several general questions (himself, his school) and one easy puzzle. he expected it to be way more challenging. now trying to calm myself down that this was not because they wrote him off and the whole interview was a dream.

DS also had an interview for 10+ and we are also anxiously waiting. Best of luck to everyone

I think even if he doesn’t, it is a good sign that he’ll do well next year. So take it as a great positive, regardless of the outcome. Keep us posted!

Thank you @nestess, I didn’t want to just call and check as I worried they would just say no😂, anyway the wait is almost over, will wait until this Friday!

Well done to your DS. Their website says they have 40-44 places at 10+ but does not say how many are interviewed for those places. Have you called the Admissions office to see if they would give you an idea?
