His gone too sleep

SleepWarrior · 19/04/2019 01:44

The one that really bothers me that I've suddenly started seeing everywhere is illusive instead of elusive. I blame auto-correct on phones as I think it pops up and people just assume it's what they were after it never is.

Oh, and weary when wary was the word they were actually looking for.

wetpants · 18/04/2019 23:54

This surely shouldn't be aloud?

Mintandthyme · 18/04/2019 23:51

Am sat.
Go toilet.

Enough said 😐

BikeRunSki · 18/04/2019 23:50

Lol! Hoist by my own autocorrect! “Prole” should be “people”

BikeRunSki · 18/04/2019 23:49

I read a reports today all about prole who lived in a particular village - the residence. Confused

BareBum · 18/04/2019 23:47

En route is fine but on route isn’t.

misper · 18/04/2019 23:42

there's a current thread which mentions 'slithers' of tomato
I DID NOT POST ON IT

misper · 18/04/2019 23:40

ect

SleepWarrior · 18/04/2019 23:37

What was wrong with 'en route' that was mentioned above?

Mamaof2cuties · 18/04/2019 23:29

Don't know the REASON WHY AM loving this thread.

PunkRockHippy · 18/04/2019 22:47

or "over"?

Or even ‘at’, for the love of pedantry, some kind of preposition! Please!

BobbinThreadbare123 · 18/04/2019 22:45

All of these. Sigh.

Use of the word invite when invitation is meant.
Also fed up of seeing things like "It needs gone" or "He needs fed". Ridiculous. Or should I say 'rediculous' FFS.

TwitterQueen1 · 18/04/2019 22:37

Off of Angry absolutely can't BARE it darling....

QOD · 18/04/2019 22:34

Do you want me to borrow you some money ?
🤛🏻

iklboo · 18/04/2019 22:33

I see your 'hence why' and raise you a 'hence because'.

Lobsterquadrille2 · 18/04/2019 22:31

@cakeallday or "over"?

cakeallday · 18/04/2019 22:25

"What are you doing the weekend?"
"We have to go to see Beryl the weekend."

What happened to the word 'on'? Baffled.

Witchend · 18/04/2019 22:10

One of the main newspapers (Guardian/Times?) managed to spell the school I went to as "Grammer" school on their front page. I had the head of English first thing that morning. He was not a happy bunny. Grin

Hollowvictory · 18/04/2019 21:51

Amen to that op. I hear you.

Abra1de · 18/04/2019 21:48

Myself and all of you have a lot in common.

Ivegotthree · 18/04/2019 21:29
