11+ waiting for results

Awake from 4:30am. Can't access results yet.

Said I'd not look till after 9am anyway but that is going to be a struggle!

No leaks from teachers about what mean marks are?!

@MrsTWH I had heart failure when I saw the email subject line with RESULTS in it! 😆

It's bound to be Wednesday as I'm in hospital having a general anaesthetic that afternoon (only a tiny operation, nothing too scary although I am a massive worrier about anything health-related) so I won't be able to read the email. Hopefully I'll live to see how it turned out...

Thought the results had come out, got an email... and it basically says “please stop ringing us!”

Hoping tonight’s governor meeting is to verify results and they’ll be out maybe Weds?

Waiting for the results is horrible, but at least in Kent we had a set day, not knowing when they're going to come in must be hell.

The girls grammar here had an open morning this morning, a quick chat with the admissions people confirmed that from where we live a place at the school is almost certain for DD as long as we put them as our first choice. I still won’t be entirely able to relax until March when we get confirmation of the place though.

Fingers crossed for all of those still waiting.

These will be made available before the end of this week once our internal checking processes are complete. Our Receptionist or Admissions Team cannot give you any further information than this. Your patience is appreciated in this matter.

I'm jumping every time I get an email notification, but I don't "feel" it'll be today. I think tomorrow. No reason, just a feeling.

I've stalked the website again 😆and found this, which doesn't even say "mid-October", but just any day before the 31st:

Except this feels like I’m waiting for a boy (I really like) to call, but there’s a high chance he’s phoning to tell me he wants to ask my friend out!

Waiting for Trafford results here too. I tutored my DD myself so extra stressed.

Officially results due to be posted Fri her but last year people received them from 4 days earlier on the Tues. Two years earlier when DS did it they came out on the day they said. Have told my DS to have a look in the office at school (one DD sat for) and to see if they are stuffing a load of envelopes!!
Also asked him to ask but doubt he'll remember either. Actually a vibe might help him remember!

Sick feeling here too- I think it's dread actually. I've seen the marks and know it's not good news so it's bit like waiting for a car crash to happen 😢

When I saw your notification on my phone, I thought you'd got your results!

I totally feel your pain. I'd much prefer a set results day. I will be jumping and checking my junk email folder all day today just in case.

@WhatsGoingOnEh I’ve just noticed that they also had an admissions meeting Thurs 11th. And again tonight like you said. Does that mean they meet before and after the results are out or just before?!? I really hope it’s today, I’m struggling with not knowing the day. I constantly check my emails. It’s frustrating!

One more day. Hopefully I'll be able to sleep past 4:30am after tomorrow!

Oh bless her. That was our biggest fear too! However I had already prepared various speeches on how it was performance on two days not a reflection of her and the fact that she even tried was good enough.
