What does your child use to carry their cookery ingredients?

Or food technology ingredients if we need to be precise! DS Year 7 has FT the same day as PE and will have to carry his PE kit to the lesson along with the FT stuff and his rucksack. This is because FT is his last lesson and they are not allowed back in the form room after last lesson to collect their PE kit! PE Kit will fit in rucksack, but son says it makes it too heavy for his back. In my day we all had to have baskets for cookery, but I have no idea what is used these days. Also do they still need to take their own tins and utensils? Before I load him up like a pack horse I need to know what he needs.

Thanks

ds1 had the FT and PE on the same day last yr too. He took the ft stuff in lare box suitable to bring his food home in, ingredients went inside the box to get there (school often provide eggs so you dont have to transport them) and took it in a separate bag - a shopper he got in the Orange phone shop so cool enough apparently Hmm
PE kit went in his rucksack and the trainers or boots in a small boot bag alsi in rucksack. It turned out they could leave the food tech stuff in the FT room fridges or cupboards for the day so he just called back in there on his way out of school at the end of the day.

Mine just took the ingredients in a big tupperware box.

DS1 started by putting the box in his rucksack, but on one occasion managed to not seal the lid of the golden syrup container and it leaked all over everything Grin. After that all FT ingredients always went into a separate carrier!!

My DS has to take the ingredients and a container to bring the 'delicious' cooked food home. Everything else is supplied for the school. He takes it in a carrier bag or his rucksack, depending on how many ingredients he is using. He is allowed to store his ingredients in the food tech lab, which is helpful.
