the thought of a Tory government actually happening bloody depresses me

well, if it was a British ill, it involved the Scottish too! you were pinning it all on London.

The country didn't want a Labour government and just because Scottish people can't see beyond labour then that's the way it is. It's called democracy.

Of course it does Riven, you didn't think that there was anything beyond it did you?

If I ruled the country I would put economical and political type lessons as compulsory before people left education. How the economy of our country works, what national debt means, why it's cyclical, why you should vots, money markets, international trade etc etc etc etc. Someone else I know suggest compulsary voluntary work as part of education too - that could be good too, make some teens decide to study hard to have more options in later life?

ENGLAND has had its 'voice heard' over Scotland for hundreds of years now. When an English lord sold us out without public support.

I think it comes down to trust, I don't trust DC or the party as a whole. I think I'd rather be like the rest of Europe who generally all have mixed parliaments unlike the freakish UK

Riven you would have my full support with that (as in my dead body too) My family fought for years to keep my aunt, who has severe learning and physical disabilities, at home. With no statutory support whatsoever.

She's only just been awarded funding for 24 hour support package and her own tenancy.

The tories havn't been in power for a long time though Riven, things tend to move forwards, not backwards. We all have to give him a chance. I've seen families of disabled children camp out in Social Services because they are so despirate for support, it's still bad.

Cameron's on his way to the palace to see the Queen by the way.
