Jon Stewart on the election

'What were Britain's Founding Fathers doing when they sat down all those years ago to not write a constitution?'

Beachcomber · 11/05/2010 19:18

Am welling up already although cheered by images of dog helping children with pjs.

Nymphadora · 11/05/2010 19:18

Mines worse mme Lindt- dd1 is packing her own clothes for school residential [flamed by teachers]

MmeLindt · 11/05/2010 19:17

There are bridges like that in Germany.

Staff coming out now

MmeLindt · 11/05/2010 19:14

GetOrfMoiLand · 11/05/2010 19:14

I am sat here crying.

It is worse than bridges of Madison County when she won't get out the fricking car at the end.

animula · 11/05/2010 19:13

Hmm, rolling BBc news ... my dc might think I've left them.

Haven't seen Libby Brooks article, will go google.

I made the mistake of reading The Times today (in cafe) and I am not a happy bunny. I can't even say in any detail why not - I actually am too upset.

leavingonajetplane · 11/05/2010 19:13

"david" being Dimbelby who had just taken over on the Beeb, not DC.

GetOrfMoiLand · 11/05/2010 19:12

MmeLindt · 11/05/2010 19:12

Not sure why everyone else doesn't like him but I think he is the worst kind of career politician, power hungry, no experience outside of parliament, arrogant... I could go on

OP posts:
GetOrfMoiLand · 11/05/2010 19:11

OOh watching BBC news

leavingonajetplane · 11/05/2010 19:11

...and we all gaze at a piece of furniture in the road. Has to behappening now, if david has come to pull us through it

MmeLindt · 11/05/2010 19:11

Had friend around to pick up DC from playdate. We had a glass or two of wine to toast GB

Beachcomber · 11/05/2010 19:10

Lectern out front of no 10.

onebatmother · 11/05/2010 19:10

I saw Ed Miliband briefing today and he was slightly brusquer than usual (understandably). For the first time I could genuinely imagine him in charge, particularly in charge in opposition, with a little time to grow into it.

Beachcomber · 11/05/2010 19:09

Excellent analysis by pinkoleftiedragon!!

leavingonajetplane · 11/05/2010 19:08

Ooh the lectern just emerged
