13 years ago watched that motorcade with Blair in come from the Palace to Downing St. All those flags waving and all that hope. I was 19.

No have watched the motorcade at the end of 13 years of labour.

Very upsetting.

Aaargh, stuck settling toddlers who would not go to sleep, missed GB's speech.

As much as I think this is probably the least worst outcome, given the election results, my main feeling is 'oh shit'.... Shit shit shit, in fact.

When the boys appeared I thought to myself, I see that the Browns have the same trouble as me trying to find a sitter.

However I thought it was lovely that they all left together.

You're right Jac - that street has been those boys' home for as long as they have been alive. They did very well not to have been frightened by all those cameras. They would have scared me to death! So much upheaval for all the family isn't it.

Isn't Sarah Brown a bloody star as well.

I know what you mean GOML, I think some of my sadness is because tearing shreds off Gordon Brown has been a national sport recently - we don't deserve him really. I feel a bit sad about what that says about us as a population/society (and concerned about all that stuff about the media).
