What do you think of Peter Mandelson?

That's it really - I'm just interested.

(Disclaimer-type thingy: I'm not particularly a supporter or hater of any of the three main parties)

Do you think he does what he does out of principle or has he forgotten all that in the excitement of scoring oints?

Apparantly when John Holmes off the "Vote Now SHow" for Radio 4 took a picture of him into a primary school, the child he asked mistakenly identified him as Lord Voldemort!

Really you need people like that in politics; it's politics fgs - if it wasn't about dodgy deals and manoeuvring behind the scenes and knives in the back of the off-message, it wouldn't be, um, politics...

Sorry - didn't mean that to sound so divisive. I just mean he's a crafty one and you would rather have him on your team than to have to take him on. He was very good on the beeb on election night.
