Brown resigning?

He's heading back to london and it sounds like he's got a pearl handled revolver with him.

He shouldn't be resigning - too many people voted Labour. He needs to stay in post until it's sorted but by all means look at a new leader in the meantime.

A mate of mine has got £25 opn Mandelson being interim PM until Govt is finally sorted. Not as unlikey as it seems, apparently

He's doing what Margaret Thatcher did right before she resigned. He wants to ask each cabinet member whether he has their support on a one to one basis.
