Pondering, and while slightly more optimistic than we once were, still really quite unhappy Lefty thread

I dunno re the Lefties bit. We are Lefties, and proud, so why the hell not - plus people know to avoid us as they see fit.

But then - yes, it is a bit polarising and maybe not in the spirit of collaborative government. Maybe we should be embracing the zeitgeist?

See what you mean policywonk about the leftie thing - however it does keep the threads as a zone where we don't have to keep justifying our positions and can just chat.

I'm just flying that - I don't know. But some of the other threads are a bit scary.

but if we take lefty out of the title then people of - ahem - opposing views will stumble in unaware and it will descend into a bun-fight.

Maybe it would be good to take 'lefty' out of the title? I like these threads but I'm beginning to think we're creating a nasty atmosphere for non-lefties.

I think it must be at least 6 isn't it? I'm sure this one was at least 5 - by my reckoning we've had:

  1. "depressed lefties sign in"
  2. "valient and proud lefties"
  3. then "depressed lefty-red eye"

policywonk - Until then a quiet Sunday, I saw Ms Millar brave butcher's knifes and dangerous youngsters when everyone else in the street stayed in. And I never heard about this in the press- would have been a good one to spin. Tells me that Campbell is anything but self serving.
