Hello

OP posts:
EweStupidToryVoters · 07/05/2010 12:47

Just joining the Labour Party, it's only £1 for those of you under 27.

I have given up guessing what is going to happen but Pilgrim makes a very good point.

GetOutOfMoiWayTories · 07/05/2010 12:46

Why have Cheltenham not yet counted their votes the lazy sods

This was one of the tory targets - DP works there and he says all you can see all day are tory campaigners braying.

I don't understand what is going in any more - I just need my bed.

Waiting to eat, taffetacat!

onebatonevote · 07/05/2010 12:44

Cons trickle towards backing electoral reform?

SpringHeeledJack · 07/05/2010 12:44

Mandy makes me laugh

my heart does a little leap whenever he's on the Today programme

I know tis wrong

taffetacat · 07/05/2010 12:44

becauseiagreewithgordon - are you menu planning or are the brekkie options political coalition euphemisms?

onebatonevote · 07/05/2010 12:44

Not just an Asian woman but a Muslim Asian woman, in Respect's stronghold. Shows how much of it was about George 'Pussy' Galloway's fatter-than-life personality.

electra · 07/05/2010 12:43

Scotland clearly has more sense than anywhere else...

BecauseIAgreeWithGordon · 07/05/2010 12:43

And the polls are closing at 12.45 because I'm starving!

wubblybubbly · 07/05/2010 12:43

Can the tories form a minority government without the lib dems?

MmeLindtChocBrownies · 07/05/2010 12:43

Interesting to note that if Tony Blair had not taken the vote from the overseas voters then it could have made a difference. Apparently he did this because many overseas voters were Tories. Must have a look for figures.

onebatonevote · 07/05/2010 12:42

and no minority government of bacon and scrambled eggs with cheese, please.

BecauseIAgreeWithGordon · 07/05/2010 12:42

OK - here's a winnable vote:

bacon and eggs
scrambled eggs
cheese omelette

KnottyLocks · 07/05/2010 12:41

14% swing to labour

Could there be some more?

Fabulous to see an Asian woman get a seat.

Stick that, BNP.

Disenchanted3 · 07/05/2010 12:41

I think whatever happens this time round, those sat at home on their arses not voting yesterday will think again next oppotunity.

jenny60 · 07/05/2010 12:40

Back again and still fascinated and not that unhappy. Lots of possibilities, lots of interest for wonks like us and still potential for real change.

PfftThePinkoLeftyDragon · 07/05/2010 12:40

some high turnouts around

taffetacat · 07/05/2010 12:38

I love Mandy on a very basic level. I love that he's at ease, a natural spinner, a sharp wordsmith, and yes a bit evil. Every party needs a wicked wizard and he's Labour's. He balances the others in the forefront.

PfftThePinkoLeftyDragon · 07/05/2010 12:38

fuss at the bethnal results
