really will be a travesty for LD voters if nick clegg goes for this deal won't it?

nothing on trident, immigration, getting stuck in cutting public spending straight away, prob bugger-all on taxation

wouldn't be happy with that if I'd voted for LDs

too little

Ninjacat · 07/05/2010 14:49

So 2/3rds of us voted for the left of centre and 1/3rd for the right but the right win? hmmmm

Very frightening. He is arrogant isn't he. I fear for my region, we are going down the pan big time.

Clegg would be crazy to go for that. He is offering to little.

Laugs · 07/05/2010 14:48

Ninja, you should start a facebook group to that effect - quick, before he makes a decision!

onebatmother · 07/05/2010 14:48

quite Beachcomber. As anticipated. FUCK. He's going to go for it, I know it.

ImSoNotTelling · 07/05/2010 14:48

He's offered quite a bit though.

DH points out that same size constituencies would be good for left

Then there was the nod to fair taxes esp for the poor

I dunno

I just don't know

It's all very exciting though.

And let's not forget the tories HAVE NOT WON that is a result in itself.

caramelwaffle, are you in my head? I have to turn off my sweary button and go and pick up the children now.

jennylindinha · 07/05/2010 14:47

I feel vindicated in having my third glass of wine now...

CatIsSleepy · 07/05/2010 14:47

DC is not offering the LDs much is he?

school pupil premium, low carbon economy, some no doubt long-winded enquiry into electoral reform

hmm

NorkilyChallenged · 07/05/2010 14:47

"The Conservative party love this country"

Pah.

Dimbleby just basically said an enquiry means nothing

Oh god oh god oh god.
Low to pull out the 'we are at war' card.
Not much in there for lefties.
Not much about electoral reform.
And at the idea of the tories wanting to reduce taxation for the poorest.

Beachcomber · 07/05/2010 14:46

He is saying fuck off to electoral reform and offering crumbs about schools and fiscal details.

Clegg has no balls and will be showing Tory colours if he goes for this.

Ninjacat · 07/05/2010 14:46

Mr Clegg I want my vote back!!!

FacePalm · 07/05/2010 14:46

So he will offer compromise, yet some senior tories will not agree with that though will they? So the bickering within will continue.
