I need to know. Did Willie McCrea sing a gospel song when declared? Were any of you watching?

IDemosthenes · 07/05/2010 09:32

flowery I don't think I have ever seen you on a thread that is not employment related

flowerybeanbag · 07/05/2010 09:29

I am going to a mock tribunal this afternoon (it seemed such a good idea at the time...) and have to read the 32 page bundle beforehand.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 07/05/2010 09:28

Good luck in your usefulness!

Cartoose · 07/05/2010 09:26

Right I'm finally off to do something useful

OhYouBadBadKitten · 07/05/2010 09:24

have put washing on, mainly to make me stand up and not fall asleep at pc.

toccatanfudge · 07/05/2010 09:23

yes amused my tired mind this morning so thought I'd share - so true though it is a bit "ermm" isn't it

"The British People have spoken. Unfortunately what they said was "errrrm."

Heh

AbsOfCroissant · 07/05/2010 09:21

Hm.

So, give them a week and the Queen will have to step in. Can't you just picture her, strolling in, best Mother voice "David, Gordon. STOP IT NOW. Now play together nicely, you go over there, you go over there, and you may play with the country now. Okay?"

SomeGuy · 07/05/2010 09:19

I haven't heard any reports of irregularities in highly marginal seats.

toccatanfudge · 07/05/2010 09:19

haha just seen a great status update on FB (apparently seen on twitter)

"The British People have spoken. Unfortunately what they said was "errrrm."

absofcroissant - that could lead to a number of by-elections. This could rumble on for months....

Cartoose · 07/05/2010 09:19

Oh coffee, I needed that. Thanks knockraven. Well, I've got a lot to do today so I'll be on and off here. Trying to force myself not to sit in the same position (with laptop and TV on) that I was until 2 in the morning!

toccatanfudge · 07/05/2010 09:18

ahh but now do I put it in Politics, Good House keeping or somewhere else.

I'm sure if we're plodding along because we stayed up to watch the election we're going to be wasting more time keeping an eye on things today and discussing it as we skive off rest between doing stuff.....

Naomi Long is coming across very well I think

AbsOfCroissant · 07/05/2010 09:16

Does anyone know what's going to happen to the boroughs where people couldn't al vote? Harriet Harman was saying something about a legal challenge. Could/would they?

SomeGuy · 07/05/2010 09:15

Tories GAIN Hendon

flowerybeanbag · 07/05/2010 09:14

Morning all

Was awake til about 3.15. DH informs me that he fell asleep about 4, then woke at 5 and couldn't resist putting the telly on, so has had one hour sleep. He's a nutcase, and is full of beans this morning. I'm not.

And we could have all gone to bed after the exit poll!

iamfabregasted · 07/05/2010 09:14

Do it tocca I'll join

iamfabregasted · 07/05/2010 09:13
toccatanfudge · 07/05/2010 09:12

yep........

I gotta do some housework today - didn't put the dishwasher on/tidy up last night at ALL.

Thinking of starting a

"I stayed up all night to watch the election and have matchsticks opening my eyes but gotta do the housework - come and plod along with me" thread lol

Tocca - shit. Don't you just hate that.

Cartoose · 07/05/2010 09:11

Morning everyone!

claig · 07/05/2010 09:10

Don't worry. I've said that Clegg was a Tory all along. He won't do a deal with Labour, evenif they offered real voting reform.

FakePlasticTrees · 07/05/2010 09:09

someguy - I had't thought about Toeies getting Lib/Lab MPs to cross the floor, interesting option.
